Picture retake day has been scheduled for  October 2nd

Are you interested in going to Costa Rica in June of 2019? If you haven’t signed up already, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, September 24th at 7:00pm in the library. Come get details about the trip itinerary and cost. If you have questions, talk to Señora Zimmerman! This is for students in grades 6, 7, and 8 only. If you are already going on the trip you do not need to attend.

NJHS members! Your first meeting of the year is this Wednesday, September 19th from 2:45-3:45 in the library. If you are in sports, you are expected to be at the first 15 minutes of the meeting and will then be dismissed to your practice. Talk to Ms. Zimmerman or Ms. Stanton if you have questions.

Attention all students interested in running for student council:

Applications are now available in the office.  Completed applications are due no later than Tuesday, September 25th at 3:00, you may turn them back in to the main office.  No late or incomplete applications will be accepted. All 5th – 8th grade students are welcome to apply, but only a limited number of students for each grade level will be selected by a staff committee.  You must be in good standing both behaviorally and academically to be selected. Selections will be made by Friday, September 28th and our first meeting is Tuesday, October 2nd.  Student council meets after school on the first Tuesday of every month, you must have a ride available to pick you up at 3:45.  We plan student events, projects, community service, etc… if you have any questions, please see Mrs. Critchlow or Mrs. Schultz.

ANY 6TH, 7TH, AND 8TH GRADER INTERESTED IN TOP CLUB PLEASE SEE  MR. CARL OR MS. SPRICK.  TOP CLUB RUNS THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR FOR ONE DAY A WEEK.  WE BEGIN TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 25TH OR WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 26TH.  YOU DECIDE WHICH DAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND.

Attention Students:  The 4rd annual Homecoming Carnival is coming soon!! Make plans to come to the carnival on Sept. 28th from 4-6:30. Games, Dunk Tank, Inflatables and more. Tickets are on sale.  Five for a dollar if bought ahead of time, available in the office.  Also, White Out t-shirts go on sale today!
